The
AccuTrac
gait
training
system
is a
human
gait
rehabilitation
device
with a
supported
treadmill
for gait
retraining
of
patients.
The
device
simultaneously
supports
a
portion
of the
patients’
weight
while
gait
training
on a
treadmill
which
incorporates
lateral
movement.
This
feature
allows
the
stimulation
of
additional
core
muscles
and
increased
posture
and
balance
benefits.
The
harnessing
system
can
support
up to
400 lbs
and
allows
enough
vertical
movement
to
permit
normal
gait,
but not
enough
to allow
the
patient
to lose
posture.
Figure 1
shows a
concept
design
of the
system
and Fig.
2 shows
the
current
prototype.
This
design
and
prototype
license/marketing
rights
are
available
to a
qualified
buyer
for
$350,000.
